1. Introduction & Developer Identity

This Privacy Policy explains how Chalk Cloud ("we", "us", or "our"), an independent game studio, handles information when you download, install, and play Blimpies (the "Game") on Android devices.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

To provide full transparency, we want to highlight what we never collect:

• No User Accounts: Blimpies does not have account registration, social login, or password requirements.
• No Personal Contact Information: We do not collect your real name, email address, physical address, or phone number within the game.
• No Precise Geolocation: We do not request or access GPS location permissions.
• No Sensitive Device Hardware: We do not request camera, microphone, contacts, or external storage access.
• No Custom Server Logging: We do not run external database servers storing player data.

3. Local Device Storage (Save Data)

Blimpies stores your gameplay progress strictly on your local device storage (within the sandboxed application directory). This data includes:

• High score, highest combo, and total merges completed.
• Unlocked puzzle themes (Classic, Fruit, Candy, Animals) and equipped themes.
• Virtual in-game balances (Coins, Stars, Lives, and Balloon Popper boosters).
• In-game status flags (such as whether you purchased the "Remove Ads" option and completed the tutorial).
• Audio preferences (Sound Effects ON/OFF, Music ON/OFF).

This information never leaves your device and is not synchronized to external cloud databases. Uninstalling the game or clearing app data in your device's settings will permanently delete this local save file.

4. Third-Party Services & Data Collection

Blimpies integrates Google SDKs to maintain game stability, analyze gameplay performance, display advertisements, and facilitate in-app purchases. These services collect certain technical information under their respective privacy policies:

A. Google Firebase Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics to understand how players interact with Blimpies. Events logged include gameplay milestones (such as completing levels, using boosters, or unlocking themes) and in-app purchase initiation/completion states. All analytics data is aggregated and does not personally identify individual users.

B. Google AdMob (Advertising)

Blimpies is supported in part by advertising provided by Google AdMob. The game includes:

• Interstitial Ads: Full-screen advertisements that may appear at natural game pauses (such as returning to the home screen after a game-over screen). These are limited to a maximum of one per run and are permanently disabled if the "Remove Ads" in-app purchase is completed.
• Rewarded Video Ads: Optional advertisements that you can choose to watch to earn in-game rewards (such as extra coins or continuing a run).

Depending on your region, device settings, and consent status, Google AdMob may serve personalized or non-personalized ads. You can manage or reset your advertising ID and opt out of personalized ads at any time through your Android device settings: Settings → Google → Ads → Reset advertising ID or Delete advertising ID.

C. Google Play In-App Billing

If you purchase virtual items (such as Coin packs, Star packs, or the "Remove Ads" option), the financial transaction is handled entirely by Google Play. We do not receive, store, or process your credit card numbers, billing addresses, or bank account details. We only receive confirmation from Google that a purchase was completed so we can credit the purchased virtual items to your local save.

5. Android Permissions

Blimpies requests only the minimum Android permissions required for game operation:

• android.permission.INTERNET: Required for AdMob ad delivery, Firebase analytics, and Google Play Billing verification.
• android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Used by ad and analytics libraries to check if an internet connection is available before sending network requests.
• android.permission.VIBRATE: Used exclusively to provide subtle tactile haptic feedback during balloon merges and booster activations.
• com.android.vending.BILLING: Included by Google Play Billing library to enable in-app purchases.

6. Children's Privacy

Blimpies is designed to be a family-friendly, cozy puzzle game suitable for general audiences of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area / UK), in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), GDPR-K, and Google Play Families Policies.

If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe that your child has provided personal information to us or through third-party SDKs without consent, please contact us at anandjk1042@gmail.com. We will promptly take steps to investigate and ensure appropriate remedial action is taken.

7. Data Security

We are dedicated to safeguarding information integrity. All network communication between the game and Google's SDK endpoints (Firebase Analytics, AdMob, Google Play) is encrypted in transit using industry-standard Transport Layer Security (HTTPS/TLS). On-device save files are stored within Android's protected application sandbox.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

• Local Data: Game progress is stored on your device indefinitely until you choose to clear application data or uninstall Blimpies.
• Third-Party Analytics: Google retains aggregated analytics data in accordance with Google's standard data retention schedules (typically up to 14 months for Firebase Analytics exploration data).
• How to Delete Your Data: You have full control over your data. To permanently delete all game data, you can clear app storage via Android Settings → Apps → Blimpies → Storage & Cache → Clear Storage, or uninstall the app. If you have questions regarding data deletion, contact us at anandjk1042@gmail.com.

9. User Privacy Rights (GDPR & CCPA/CPRA)

Depending on your geographic location, you may have specific privacy rights under applicable data protection laws (such as the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation or the California Consumer Privacy Act):

• Right to Know / Access: You can request information about what categories of data are processed.
• Right to Deletion: You can delete all local data at any time by uninstalling the application or clearing device cache.
• Right to Opt-Out of Sale / Targeted Advertising: We do not sell personal information. You can opt out of personalized ads via your Android device's Google Ads settings.
• Right to Non-Discrimination: Exercising your privacy rights will never result in discriminatory treatment or denial of core gameplay features.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or game updates. When updates occur, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
